The Oppo N3, announced back in October of last year and released just last month, is the 3rd-generation of Oppo’s flaghip ‘N’ series that boasts of two native OS in ColorOS and CyanogenMod. And today CyanogenMod announced via its Twitter account that the nightly releases for Oppo’s latest flaghsip smartphone is already in the works and to be released soon.

For a specs review, the Oppo N3 features a 5.5-inch display with 1920 x 1080 resolution (403 ppi), powered by a Qualcomm MSM8974AA Snapdragon 801 quad-core processor clocked at 2.3GHz, has 2GB of RAM, 32GB of internal storage expandable up to 128GB via a microSD card slot, a 16MP (Schneider Kreuznach certified) rotating camera with dual-LED flash, and a 3,000mAh battery.

The Oppo N3 runs on Color OS 2.0 which is based on Android 4.4.4 KitKat which makes the news of upcoming CyanogenMod 12 releases a great one for N3 users as it would probably take one to three months before we see Color OS updated to Android L. We’ll keep you updated.
