LG just sent a press-release regarding one of its headliners for the upcoming Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2015 – the Watch Urbane.
The Watch Urbane is LG’s first all-metal luxury Android Wear device, and as its name suggests, it is a smartwatch designed for the sophisticated and luxurious which you can wear from everyday life to formal and corporate occasions.
Looking at the specs, the Watch Urbane is pretty much a metal version of the G Watch R featuring the same 1.3-inch P-OLED Display with 320 x 320 resolution (245 ppi), powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor clocked at 1.2GHz, 512MB of RAM, 4GB of storage, and a 410mAh battery.
The Watch Urbane will run on Android Wear and also features 9-Axis (Gyro / Accelerometer / Compass) / Barometer / PPG (Heart Rate) sensors. It is also IP67 certified dust and water resistant making it a truly all-around smartwatch.
The Watch Urbane will be available for both men and women with its gold and silver color options, with the rest of the details and pricing to be announced on the upcoming MWC in March 2-5 at Barcelona, Spain. We’ll keep you updated.
