Although a month late, the Samsung Galaxy A7 is now officially available in India through Samsung India’s online store. The often tagged ‘iPhone look-alike’ is the best smartphone in the Galaxy A series and will be Samsung’s latest smartphone to help Samsung to beat the homegrown Micromax in the Indian market which is only trailing 5% from Samsung in terms of sales.
The Galaxy A7 is a premium smartphone that’s a tad lower than the Galaxy S and Note series that features a 5.5-inch Super AMOLED display with 1920 x 1080 resolution, powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor, has a plenty 2GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage expandable up to 64GB via a microSD card lot, a 13MP/5MP camera combo that features an auto-selfie software, and a 2,600mAh battery. The Galaxy A7 runs on Android 4.4.4 KitKat with Samsung TouchWiz on top of it.
The Samsung Galaxy A7 will be available in black, white, and gold color options and carries a Rs. 30,499 ($490) price tag. It’s a bit pricey if compared to other smartphones with the same level of specs, but the Samsung A7 boasts of an elegant design with specs and software features that most people love (or hate).
