China’s top smartphone manufacturer – XiaoMi, has always been known for its quality yet affordable smartphones ranging from low-range to high-end ones. And its ‘Mi’ line of flagship smartphones has been a hit not only in China, but several regions in Asia as well. And according to a new leak, here’s what the next ‘Mi’ phone – the Mi 5, has to offer.
The XiaoMi Mi5 codenamed “Libra” is said to feature a 5.3-inch QHD display with 2560 x 1440 resolution, powered by the 64-bit Snapdragon 820 processor, has 4GB of RAM and 16GB/64GB of internal storage, a 16MP/6MP camera combo, and a 3,030mAh battery which is good for a 5.3-inch smartphone. No word yet regarding its memory expandability but we’ll keep you updated.
Looking at the software side. the XiaoMi Mi5 will be running on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop with XiaoMi’s MIUI OS on top of it and will sport a fingerprint scanner as well.
The XiaoMi Mi5 is said to be released in November this year, and will either sport a metal build or a combination of metal and plastic. All XiaoMi ‘Mi phones’ has been a huge success and the Mi5 is expected to be no different especially with the above specs and a price point that will surely make us wow which XiaoMi is very well known for.
